Hi! Cleaning Day!

Hi! Welcome to my Blog.
So I started this blog because all I do is clean, so it seems. I clean before work, at work, after work, sometimes I have dreams about cleaning (sheesh!). I guess I just want to vent? about all the cleaning and how it is NEVER done..so the story goes.
I just had a very special guest, my Dad, come stay with us for a few days. I cleaned the whole house from top to bottom. I vacuumed, dusted, did all the laundry (what a feat!), dishes, bathrooms & toilets, swept/mopped the floors and even gave the dog a bath. It was sparkling clean!
It's 5 days later and you would have thought an army of barbarians came through. Goodness! Laundry, dishes, dirty restrooms (eek!) and a dirty dog! I do have to say that my husband helps a lot! I'm lucky in that sense. He does the dishes at night and cleans the kitchen when he's off on nights. God Bless him. So far, I've swept, brushed the dog, have laundry going and will be cleaning the upstairs and vacuuming once the husband wakes up for work.
It seems the cleaning day has just started and there's no end in sight! I start back to work tomorrow at 0dark hundred hours (haha, get it?) so we'll see how clean the house stays.
Do you clean before, during and after a guest visits? I do! I can't help it! There's just something in my brain that says, "Clean, clean, clean!" At least my house looks decent for those unexpected guests as well ;)
